wordpress2blogger gives me "not valid XML" error

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get the tarball of r-79
2. cd bin
3. ./wordpress2blogger wordpress.2009-12-20.xml

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'm expecting an XML of the converted blog to the standard output, but
instead I get this error Input WordPress document is not valid XML!!

i am having the same problems as everyone else and it's driving me nuts. I'm 
trying to convert my XML on http://wordpress2blogger.appspot.com for Blogger 
and the XML has errors. I've tried downloading different softwares to help, but 
nothing is working. Can you please have a look through and repair it for me?!

Here is a converted wordpress file for lego-x.wordperss.

This error was from a bug in the program.  I'll update it with this fix.

And here is the cleaned and converted versions of the 
memoirsofawardrobe.wordpress.

There was one section in the Wordpress XML file that had the nested CDATA 
problem that others have been having.  I removed the offending script element 
in the cleaned version of the file.

I've fixed this particular bug, submitted it to the project, and updated the 
appspot site.

Please try to convert your wordpress file using:

 http://wordpress2blogger.appspot.com/

Let me know if you encounter any more errors.

Sorry for the delay.  I had to add one namespace line for atom elements and 
remove two offending XML characters.  The cleaned wordpress and blogger 
converted files are attached.

I'm also getting error in converting my wordpress to blogger. When I use the 
site, http://wordpress2blogger.appspot.com/ for conversion, it gives the error 
"Error encountered during conversion.Input WordPress document is not valid 
XML!!Error appears around line 14609, column 62".

And when i just go to my blogger and direct import the xml file, it gives the 
error "Sorry, the import failed due to a server error. The error code is 
bX-izedxv". 

I have attached my wordpress xml file. Could you plz help me to solve that 
error?

I don't know if you are still doing these - But i have the same error as 
everyone else.  I tried looking for the nested CDATA, but to be honest - i 
didn't know what I was looking for (not a programmer)

Hi,

This is pissing off since wordpress is just making things worser for me. These 
are my blog entries from 2005. And I need to move them to Blogger. I know you 
must be really burdened with all the people asking you for help. but I need 
this badly man. There is around 4-5 years of bloggin in these posts. Its just 
too large to do it manually. Can you please help me out with it?

the same issu. I tried to fix it but cannot succed in . It's strange 'casu i 
expoerted 3 wordpress blog an the last one had this issue. The other 2 has been 
migrated without problems
