Delay between key press and sound: SDL buffer latency #48

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Textroom, version 0.6.4
2. Sound enabled
3. ALSA

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
On my setup, there is a latency between pressing a key and hearing the
sound. I played around with the 'audio_buffers' value, and a value of 256
seems to make it more responsive.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version: 0.6.4, Operating System: Ubuntu 9.10

Please use the 0.6.5 version, because that version is more responsive due to 
some bugfixes. It should work better.
