Aggregating hashtags via Socialist #18

Is it possible to specify a text string (Twitter or Instagram hashtag, or a keyword) and aggregate the social stream around that?

Just wondering if this capability is already enabled within Socialist already, or if I need to find another plugin to gather these social conversations?

I didn't see a resolution for this? If there is or a plan please let me know as I think it would be very powerful to be able to grab hashtags for pinterest, instagram, flickr, twitter, etc.

I'm very interested in aggregating conversations in my Socialist panes from various networks based on specific hashtags as well. For example: what if I wanted to harvest Instagram photos that have the hashtag #red in them by any and all users? Is this possible yet? Does anyone have any ideas for a workaround that might achieve this?
