CSS3 animation examples? #11

It would be nice if there were some examples demoing CSS3 animations to
transition/slide between
panels/pages.

As of today, what PC browsers and mobile phones support CSS3 and HTML5?
Is it not better to stick to CSS2.1 (I think) for compatibility?

Well, that suggestion has the advantage of a) making the iPhone user experience
_way_ better, since the
scrolling will be done using hardware acceleration, and b) ensuring that future
devices with Webkit benefit
from it.

CSS 2.1 does not give you animation, only formatting. Doing animation in pure
JS is much slower than CSS3.

I did not have the impression you were concerned with desktop browser
compatibility (since this is , but Safari
4 is almost in lockstep with iPhone 3.0, and the WebKit nightlies are already
nearing 100% CSS3 compliance (I
think they've already reached that, actually, but can't find confirmation), so
Chrome will get those too.
