add handle fails for #segments != 10 #8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a primitive
2. select two faces with shift F and shift click
3. add handle with #segments != 10

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
should add a handle with the specified number of segments.
Only 1 face per segment is visible, sometimes just edges depending on the 
situation.

Bug seen on a linux build from the latest checkout.
