dashes interpreted as numbers by regex #22

the term 7-up cannot be searched at this time because the dash is interpreted as a number (negative sign) and the number 7- doesn't exist. Further thought needs to be put in this to come up with a solution. Possible solution locations include the interp function, or the gui get functions.
