  • "kudo" for an informative review
  • "demerit" for profanity, useless review, personal attacks, advertisements
• visible to all users
• "compeer" status:
  • more than 5 reviews
  • more than 70% kudos
  • less than 10% demerits
  • 1 review in the last month
• compeers can give kudos and demerits to others (not themselves)
  • can't assess own reviews
  • non-compeers can't assess any reviews
• all site users can flag a review for kudo/demerit assessment-needed
• compeers can see reviews flagged assessment-needed
• 5 compeers' input removes assessment-needed flag
• reviews with > 20% demerits are hidden
• reviews with > 10 assessment-needed flaggings are hidden
• with > 30% demerits, all a reviewer's reviews are hidden
• with > 50% demerits, a reviewer cannot log in

Brilliant. Can you add some kind of ip address tracking? If you add ip tracking, I don't know if you should advertise that fact.

"demerit" assessments will likely have to be reviewed. "demerit" could be abused, much like "take down" notices of copyrighted material.

In private e-mail, or over raw fish, can you show me the underlying database tables?

On the "Edit Review" page, the button to save (commit) changes should not say "Review". Perhaps "Save Review" or "Save Changes".

The "Edit" comic page has the same issue. The button that commits changes is labelled "Edit".
