It will be useful to help resolve sync issues in 2018 if pre-upgrade script run in report mode is part of postmortem output
The script is run as follows from apicops
./apicops preupgrade -m report -l preupgrade.out --upgrade_to v2018 ( this requires cloud admin password for topology ).
./apicops preupgrade -m report -l preupgrade.out --upgrade_to v2018
or we could leave topology out
./apicops preupgrade -m report -l preupgrade.out --upgrade_to v2018 --no-topology
The script requests that you confirm a backup has been taken so we may need to modify slightly to take input from cli
