Need a section in Bare Metal FAQs for common access issues #31

Many of our customers when using Bare Metal and Virtual Servers for Classic have access issues. e.g.:

My server is showing as down
I cannot ping my server
I cannot RDP/SSH/VNC/KVM to my server

Need a section in Bare Metal FAQs for the above common access issues.

Sample descriptions from cases:

Can't ssh into machine Device not responding ESCALATION: VMHost is down Host not responding esx10.epapche01.ericsson.ibmcloud.local internet disconnected- can't access device Network issue NIC issue Server not reachable Server not reachable with Public IP - unable to connect with Public IP Unable to ssh to the hosts We are unable to login server via SSH.
