The text talks about the the collector ingesting data that comes from the logging agents and the diagram seems to support this. But two lines down from there, it says that the logging agents send data to the Logging Instance (and presumably the logging Instance then sends the data to the collector). However, the diagram just shows the logging agents sending stuff to the collector and not the logging instance. The Logging Instance doesn't seem to have an input, just a line between it and the collector.
So, I think the diagram / documentation around this is a bit confusing as to how it actually works.
I'm part of the team creating an IBM Certification exam and learning around this topic, so it would be great if you could clear up the slight ambiguity here.
