How start to create another library for a new language? #74

Hello,

There is a public RFP for the Java library com.ibm.mq.allclient or the C library, is there a way to create an initiative for another programming language, I have seen other initiatives like mq-golang or mq-golang-jms20, but they are built on top of the C library. But, what possibilities are there if we want something native in a new language?

Thank you.

I don't understand what you mean by "public RFP". Support for any further languages for the equivalent of the full MQI function is likely to always be built on top of one of the existing MQ client implementations - C, Java or .Net - given the cost of writing any new native protocol bindings.

Limited messaging function is available through the REST APIs which can be used directly from any language environment.

Suggestions for additional support can always be raised through the product ideas page at https://integration-development.ideas.ibm.com/
