Hi there.

Why I can't find java 17 download link in https://developer.ibm.com/languages/java/semeru-runtimes/downloads?os=Linux ?

Thanks.

Hi at @abcfy2 short answer is that we're working on it. The OpenJ9 project is still closing down its 0.28 release, which is what provides JDK17 support for our binaries, after which we will begin the process to create the IBM Semeru Runtime binaries.

Oh I know, thanks. Thank you for your hard working.

Hi @mstoodle. Why still no release today? Thanks.

Hey @abcfy2 , The OpenJ9 release was held up by 1 blocking issue. I believe it is now resolved to the point where the release can proceed. We still need some time to let the fix go through the proper testing cycles but we should be starting the release process early next week. Stay tuned!

I hope the release comes now since openj9 0.29.1 is released ;-)

Hi, I'm glad to see Semeru-Runtimes Java 17 released.

Our service runs in Docker. When will there be a Java 17 version of the Docker image available in ibmruntimes/semeru-containers?

Looking forward to it!

Why https://developer.ibm.com/languages/java/semeru-runtimes/downloads/ show me We are unable to find the page you have requested. ?

AdamBrousseau commented 2 years ago

We expect containers to be added next week. We've also been having issues with the download page stability over the past few days unfortunately. Unrelated to the release. The team is working on resolving the root cause.
