The IBM SDK for Node.js - z/OS available from Shopz and the pax version available from the IBM Marketplace are the same software, but the packaging is different. The SMP/E version is available from Shopz, while the pax version can be downloaded from the IBM Marketplace. Both are available to download at no charge, but the SMP/E version is available with optional priced IBM support. Either format can be used with CICS as long as you have Node.js version 6.14.4 or later.
Regarding IBM Node.js, I see for Zowe there is a free Node.js (node 6.14.4) available as z/OS UNIX installable pax file and there is another SDK for Node.js - z/OS available on IBM Marketplace, I would like to know is there any difference between there two software. Actually it is confusing when it comes to use Zowe node.js and Node.js SDK. Is it ok to go with Zowe node.js for CICS IVP support or do we need to have SDK for Node.js - z/OS in particular?
