This issue is to create a hydronic test case based on the BESTEST model but that uses a heat pump for heat production. The model is being developed in https://github.com/open-ideas/IDEAS/issues/1144, and this issue is to prepare the BOPTEST test case around such model.
The building envelope is therefore similar to the BESTEST hydronic case but the heating system radically changes: a heat pump is used as heating production system instead of a gas boiler, and floor heating is used as heating emission system instead of radiators. The motivation is to provide users with a test case that, although not very complex, allows for grid interaction and can therefore be used as proof of concept for controllers that claim demand response capabilities.
