Google Drive... #1106

Hi,

I'm using ODK collect on android devices. I have until now used formhub to host
the forms and the data collected. Installing on another collection device today
I noticed that there is an option for 'Google Drive, Google Maps Engine' along
with the usual 'ODK Aggregate' and I am interested in whether I could host the
forms and collected data on drive rather than formhub. The reason for this is
primarily that the formhub server frequently comes back with an error saying
that it can't deal with my request which leaves me unable to access my data. I
also use google drive for pretty much everything else and as I'm only
downloading the data to then put into fusion tables it would be preferable to
keep it all in one place.

So... I had a go at using this with my account but to no avail. Is there
anywhere that I can find a good how-to for getting set up? I have searched the
web already and turned up nothing useful.

Many thanks,

Ross

Hi Ross,

I'm new to ODK Collect myself. However, this blog for ODK v1.4.4 (August 2014),
has the following:

> " New feature: access form definitions off of Google Drive and publish forms
to Google Maps Engine and Picassa (jointly). Contributed by Nafundi "

https://opendatakit.org/2014/08/odk-v1-4-4-tools-now-available/

Does that clarify the situation? (Not what you hoped for I guess!)

Yours,

Nick
