In DOSBox you can do e.g. "mount c c:\files" where c:\files is a directory on your drive.. and it will mount locally and I use this for moving files in and out quickly and easily. Another emulator, doesn't do this, but it does default to .vhd format for drives so it's easy to open them in windows file explorer and move files in and out. I recognize that it's easy for both to do either because they're working with native filesystems.
I am wondering if at a future date there might be a way for Crossrunner to create a method to translate a local directory into a hard drive for this purpose of file interchange without having to setup a network, terminal or anything else.
