Looking at a elasticsearch log (configured to log all queries) just now, it seems like there are 40 or so identical-at-a-glance (except-for-execution-time) queries logged for a single page view, when I was expecting only 1. I think it might be doing 1 per facet in an attempt to get post-click facet counts. This bears further investigation.
