vtuber mode doesn't work on mobile

i start a stream in vtuber mode, but the vtuber character isn't visible. it's visible if i detach the video to another tab (that triggers another series of mobile bugs for detached tabs, though)

it's a css problem, gotta find a way to make the vtuber character visible on portrait mode videos too
