jpg images are not displayed #5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use the BART widget from http://worrydream.com/bartwidget/
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Unlike the screen shot of the operation of the widget on http://
worrydream.com/bartwidget/ no .jpg 'map' is displayed.  All .png images 
render okay.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Kludgets 0.9.4, Windows XP SP3

Please provide any additional information below.

A quick Google if found that .jpg support is provided in Qt via a plug 
in...

Actually the Kludets version is the 0.9.4 2009-07-09 release.

it seems I can not get any image to work, don't know if these are jpg
some examples of widgets showing blue box with ? are:
nasa image (of the day)
starry night
underground weather- i get the forecast fine,  but no images
