Fixes #168 by adding || (__APPLE__) to showBanner()'s if defined statement. Allows building via HomeBrew on MacOS

hm.. I thought the escape chars didn't work on OSX. if they don't work, then the solution is to adapt a bit done in the source code ... (not calling banner at all) if it work, then this is the reverted code needed. Would you mind verify if the banner becomes blue on OSX?
