Slice & Protobuf on Getting started page #389

Getting started should included a short intro to Slice vs Protobuf since the reader will need to pick one over the other.

We could add a page "Choosing between Slice and Protobuf" immediately after the Quickstart page.

This way, when you see Slice or Protobuf later on, you're not lost and can figure out which one to select.
