Age reader expertise page #359

To update information about age readers, as is asked to do, e.g., before an exchange, some of the information (First Year, Number of Years, Mean Otoliths and Expertise Level) can be updated directly (see attached picture). However, to update Preparation Method, Preservation Method and Observation Method, the stock needs to be entered again as a new expertise (and the previous information for that reader concerning that stock needs to be deleted, I guess). I think it would be easier, and would probably encourage coordinators to do necessary updates, if all fields could be adjusted, preferably with drop-down menus including explanations of abbreviations of methods. There is no explanation of these observation methods and this is needed when setting up an event so we ensure we have images for all methods routinely used in labs. Furthermore, it would also be good if it could be explained what number needs to be filled in for "Mean Otoliths". (Feedback from Ulrika and Julie)

EDIT TO COMMENT 17_042024 @cmspinto I have been using this page a lot in the last 2 days and i can see now that what is needed has not been fixed on this page. It is still not possible to add the Preservation and Observation method on this page image

image I just found another problem - when looking for the list of maturity stagers then when i filter the returned list is blank

In regards to "mean otoliths". It needs to be clarified in the text that this is "the average number of otoliths read by the reader per year for this stock" @cmspinto Is it possible to have a text box appear when a user moves the cursor over the header? If so then a suggestion would be to add the definition there.
