All acoustic and biotic files are currently being checked for inconsistencies towards current validation checks being performed. The intention is to send out an automatic email to all submitters which have critical validation erros within a given file.
Below please find examples of the current types of critical validation erros caught out of 60/513 = 12%:
Acoustic
Combination of DataSaCategory, DataType, and DataUnit should be unique per Sample i.e. For the same log and channel, combination of DataSaCategory, DataType, and DataUnit should be reported only once.
Log Distance should increase with Log Time.
Log Distance should be unique per cruise
The element 'Sample' has incomplete content. List of possible elements expected: 'Data'.
Biotic
CatchWeightAtLength can not be higher than CatchSubsampleWeight i.e. Weight at length can not be higher than the total weight of the subsample. Check the consistency of weight units use in your catch weight-related fields.
Haul Number should increase with Haul Start Time.
FishID should be unique for the given SpeciesCode and SpeciesCategory within the given Haul.
