aes_string is still used, at least here: https://github.com/ices-eg/wg_WGEEL/blob/d97cd59f06ece145280241e05f0cabf0586265a6/R/shiny_data_visualisation/shiny_dv/preco_diagram.R#L105C31-L105C41 while it is deprecated.
