In the given pull request we would like to propose to add two variables that can be usefull when considering positionning samples in space.
tx_transducer_depth is a variable allowing to have the tx transducer position above the water line at time of ping. It can be in most of the cases recomputed with lever arm and rotation matrix, and in some cases (drop keel) is needed.
waterline_to_chart_datum is a variable allowing to define the translation between the water line and the chart datum. It can be injected at runtime or during post processing. This allows to take into account for tides and dynamic draught and allows positionning in an absolute way.
