Address corrections and suggestions from Furuno

The PR consists of:

• grammar, typos, missing information and consistency edits
• more precise and accurate language, mainly in variable Comments fields
• fix for issue #70
• better indication that the draft version is a working version (including a timestamp)
• list variables in tables in alphabetical order
• make grid_group's obligation Optional instead of Mandatory
