Instead of the two current categories “Immunotherapy” and “Monoclonal antibodies” use:
Immunotherapy, monoclonal antibodies other than immune checkpoint inhibitors
Immunotherapy, immune checkpoint inhibitors
Immunotherapy, cell-based
Immunotherapy, other immunomodulatory substances
Detailed Description
Will remove the term Monoclonal antibodies (for liquid tumours) from the treatment_type codelist and leave just Immunotherapy
Will create a separate treatment table called Immunotherapy with the following fields (to begin with):
program_id
submitter_donor_id
submitter_treatment_id
immunotherapy_type which will include a codelist with the following terms:
Immunotherapy, monoclonal antibodies other than immune checkpoint inhibitors
Immunotherapy, immune checkpoint inhibitors
Immunotherapy, cell-based
Immunotherapy, other immunomodulatory substances
immunotherapy_drug_name (similar to how we plan to have RxNorm drug name fields set up in the hormone and chemotherapy tables)
Will most likely add a few more fields to this table after gathering more information from working group.
