I've heard a few times from issues with PIA but I don't know how users actually solved the issue or if they changed to another container.
However I think you can do something like for Surfshark like mentioned here.
Sorry, I don't have a PIA account and therefore I can't test how things are working, Privado is working just fine.
@bensonmunyan any update?

Hello,
I believe I have followed the instructions but am getting the following while trying to use PIA:
---Checking for optional scripts--- ---No optional script found, continuing--- ---Taking ownership of data...--- ---Starting...--- 2024-02-27 17:26:42 DEPRECATED OPTION: --cipher set to 'aes-128-cbc' but missing in --data-ciphers (AES-256-GCM:AES-128-GCM:CHACHA20-POLY1305). OpenVPN ignores --cipher for cipher negotiations. 2024-02-27 17:26:42 OpenVPN 2.6.3 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [LZ4] [EPOLL] [PKCS11] [MH/PKTINFO] [AEAD] [DCO] 2024-02-27 17:26:42 library versions: OpenSSL 3.0.11 19 Sep 2023, LZO 2.10 2024-02-27 17:26:42 DCO version: N/A 2024-02-27 17:26:42 neither stdin nor stderr are a tty device and you have neither a controlling tty nor systemd - can't ask for 'Enter Auth Username:'. If you used --daemon, you need to use --askpass to make passphrase-protected keys work, and you can not use --auth-nocache.
Any assistance is much appreciated.
