Error when trying to open roms in the wii 64 beta 1.1

I am using a SD card that I got almost 3 yrs ago and I have the Snes, Nes, 
Sega, Dosbox, UAE, c64, and atari emulators and roms on it. They all work 
fine, however, it should be noted that I have not updated any of them in 
between almost 1 to 2 yrs give or take. The point is that they all work 
but when I downloaded the wii 64 beta 1.1, the roms will not work, it just 
says error opening "wii64/roms". I have them put onto the root of the sd 
card as followed

wii64/roms/blah.v64
wii64/roms/blah.z64

still I get nothing and another problem to report is that when loading the 
wii 64 beta 1.1 on homebrew, the program itself will almost always go to 
this black and white error dsi page and freeze up my wii. I have been 
waiting to play this and it sucks that a lot of people are enjoying this 
except me. Another thing to add is that my sd card is not an SDHC it is 
simply an SD card from 3 yrs ago.

Hopefully, someone can help me out and I can enjoy this awesome release.

Also, the original wii64 beta 1 worked fine for loading roms but this version 
will 
not take it at all for me. I hope someone responds soon, I'd really like to 
play 
some of the classics again.

One last thing to add, I have not updated my wii since I got it in 2007.Sorry

scott, you need to have DVDx V2 installed which comes with the latest Bootmii 
installer.

I'm not entirely sure how the dvdx v2 will make it work, when I am using an sd 
card 
for front loading? I will try it anyways but if you just misread what I said 
which 
is that I am using an SD card for loading roms with front loading then please 
let me

ok i got it to work with that but some games dont play right, they might be bad 
roms 
or what not. I  can't shoot in goldeneye and the original south park game 
doesn't 
even come up just goes to black screen when I go to play it after loading.
