I'm using Catalina, no issues at all. Its basic HTML page that displays identical in all operating systems, so I don't see reason why it would happen.
Its probably something else.
What country are you browsing from? Plug-in loads icons from API, which is hosted on several servers. Please open https://api.iconify.design/version in browser and post results here, it will help me identify which server you are being connected to.
Also make sure you are using latest version if plug-in.
"Iconify API version 2.0.0 (Node, US-WEST)"
Yes, I just uninstalled and reinstalled the plug-in yesterday, so should be using the latest version.
Thanks. What country are you browsing from?
So far the only thing I found that could be wrong is outdated sketch web view module. So I've updated it and published new version. Please check if that solves your problem.
Browsing from US.
Just tried again with the updated plugin and I still can't click into the search box.
Can you try Iconify plug-in in Figma? They rely on same code base, so if there is a problem with API that is causing it, it would show up in Figma plug-in as well.
Just tested and the plugin works in Figma.
Thanks. That means error is not caused by internet connection or API, but by something in Sketch.
Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that. UI is basic HTML, it has no reason not to work. Biggest source of issues that I've seen so far is plug-in - UI communication, but its not something that I can fix or even debug.
Maybe problem will go away after next Sketch update. If not, I'm working on next version of plug-in that matches newer Figma plug-in, but that will take a while.
Thanks for your help and quick replies!
Since I upgraded my MacOS to Catalina, I can no longer use the Search function of the Iconify plugin. Browsing is painfully slow. Help!
