Link rendering is currently controlled by: https://github.com/icssc-projects/Zotistics/blob/52ce4c7a31aba1977febd83e6ad16a38cbeecaef/src/pages/posts/%5Bslug%5D.tsx#L35-L39 Because we're not handling the link target, it's not currently possible open the link in a new tab.
