The idea would be to develop an eclipse plugin (or maybe you can do this thanks 
to a annotation processor?) to detect errors directly in the IDE without having 
to run the GWT compilation (or start the development mode).

This would help refractoring a lot.

Nick started a eclipse plugin for Mvp4g: 
http://code.google.com/a/eclipselabs.org/p/mvp4g-plugin/. Maybe this could be a 
good start.
