Here something available on Mouser with maximum pressure about 1Bar.
Honeywell HSCDANN001BG2A5: I2C, 12bit resolution, 1% precision, 0-1Bar, 5V, SMD-8, ~40€
Honeywell HSCMANN001BA2A3: I2C, 12bit resolution, 1% precision, 0-1Bar, 3.3V, SMD-8, ~40€
Honeywell ABPDRRV600MGSA3: Dual ports, SPI, 12bit resolution, +/- 0.25 precision, 0-600mBar, 3.3V, DIP-6, ~12€
Honeywell ABPLLNN600MGAA3: analog output, 0.25% precision, 0-600mbar, 3V
Honeywell HSCDANN1.6BAAA5: analog output,1% precision, 0-1.6bar, 5V, DIP-8
Smartec SPD005G: max 35kPa (350mBar)
...
HX710B Pressure Sensor Module: 0-40kPa (0-400mBar): serial interface, 5V
...
Just for commodity I put a small converting table for pressures:
1mBar = 0.1kPa = 0.0145 PSI
mBar | kPa | PSI |
---|---|---|
10 | 1 | 0.145 |
20 | 2 | 0.29 |
40 | 4 | 0.58 |
After 1st April meeting, we look for digital pressure sensor in the 0-100mbar range. Here some proposal.
Honeywell ABPDLNN100MG2A3 I2C, 100mbar, 12 bit, 10% to 90%, 3.3V, Barbless, Total error ±1.5%FSS
Honeywell ABPDANN005PG2A3 I2C, 350mbar (5 PSI), 10% to 90%, 3.3V, Barbed
Honeywell ABPDRRV060MGSA3 SPI, 0-60mbar, 12 bit, +/-0.25% precision
Honeywell offers two useful series:
we defined the two sensors for the proto0:
HSCDANN010BGAA5 0-10 BAR
HSCMAND160MD2A5 +-160mbar
This issue to investigate suitable pressure sensors for measure the Air-O2 mixture in the ventilator. The pressure to measure is low (<1bar) and the resolution and sensitivity should be good for the application (0-40mBar). It will be useful investigate also pressure sensor module.
