I don't think it's much use to compare the performance with a discontinued implementation that is incomplete on many levels. So I'd suggest to remove the entire section.
And maybe add a performance comparison with other markdown libraries. I'm not aware of any other Crystal implementations, but maybe some library could be used for that.
