FSI V and V examples

Reason

The fluid-structure interaction module has been newly created in MOOSE. However, no realistic examples exist that demonstrate its capabilities.

Design

The following examples will be implemented in MASTODON:

• Steel tank with water subjected to a harmonic acceleration in the x-direction
• Steel tank with water subjected to an earthquake acceleration in the x-direction
• Steel tank with water subjected to earthquake accelerations in the x-direction and rotation about y-direction

Impact

These examples will demonstrate new/existing MASTODON/MOOSE users the capabilities of the fluid-structure interaction module.
