Long non-numeric Gist ID's with gist.io #68

All Gists I create appear to have IDs much longer strings, such as ccf4358153e1d7279630 and don't seem to work by manually creating the url gist.io/https://gist.github.com/anonymous/ccf4358153e1d7279630 or using the bookmarklet.

Am I somehow confused about what the actual ID is? Is it not just ccf4358153e1d7279630?
