Looks like we have a 12 April 2019 deadline to fix this, as the "username" field will no longer work from API v1. We'll need to update to a uuid identifier method instead.
@idangozlan would you be able to mark this as "help wanted"? I will give it a shot myself once I get the time assuming I'm still using it, but if anyone else is using this and has the skills it would make a great PR.

Guys, could you please publish https://github.com/idangozlan/verdaccio-bitbucket/pull/7 chages to npm? This would be great to utilize bitbucket v2 api :)
Hi 👋 ... I could take care of merging review and releases as we do with other plugins in verdaccio organization. But it would be great to have full permissions and if is hosted within our organization we might have more maintainers taking care of this plugin. In other word sharing ownership.
