-o switch doesn't work #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install pirni from cydia
2. run it with -o somefile

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
no file is created and the "[*] Collecting packets to somefile..." doesn't 
appear

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0 from cydia

Please provide any additional information below.

Pirni 1.0 does not support -o
I'm sorry about the misunderstanding in the user guide, it's for 1.1 which will 
be up
on cydia within a few days. It's already available as source, but you will have 
to
compile it your self.

To save to logfile (non pcap) in 1.0 route the output to a file like this:
pirni [options] > somefile

it says control -c to cancel how do u stop this in terminal i have been closing
terminal completely or rebooting. Any ideas
