Serial set to 9600 for compatibility with ping sensor. Removed blocking code in main loop to remove 80ms block per command from web browser. Added ping sensor library, connect RX to RX and TX to TX !. Improved but not fixed compatibility with chrome browser, hitting refresh every 30 seconds or so will get it to load :( .

At the moment you must disconnect the ping sensor to upload code, as it has to be connected to the TX and RX terminals on the nodemcu
