Can we remove the permanent hints #131

Having the hints permanently on the screen becomes very busy and takes up valuable vertical space. I suggest we have an (i) icon which can be tapped to display hint inline and save the space.

I like a tooltip that works on hover and also tap. eg. http://expandjs.com/demo/mat-tooltip
