Bluetooth sound stops when the android screen blanks to save power.

I've just got this working but I'm keen to help make it better.  At any rate 
the summary says most of it:
-set sipdroid up to use my diamondcard account
-called my companies 1800 number.  The tones for entering the conference were 
not audible in the bluetooth headset, but were on the phone.  Minor thing.
-I got into the conference and listened to the delightful music for a minute, 
but when the phone blanked the display the sound stopped.
-if i pressed the power button to enable the display the sound returned.

Is sipdroid opensource?  I'd be happy to trouble shoot a little if it is.
