IDMC Helix - v2.075 production - Repetitive identification of gender?

It seems repetitive and increases chance of error to have to select Title and Gender.... shouldn't it be intuitive that if you select Mr, Mrs, or Ms. that gender be defined. I can get into a whole discussion on gender but at the simplest notion that if title is selected, we don't also need to identify gender as male or female (as there are also other genders too...).
