Hotlink protection on kaskus cdn?

Dont think it gonna be prevented by hotlink protection, it should act normal
and have same domain refferer just like another asset files on that page.
If it occurs on advance editor too, there might be something wrong w/ the cdn.
If it confirmed that nothin todo w/ plugins or extentions blocking it, eg. Abp,
ghostery, etc.,
But if another user not experiencing the same, it might just
you/router/proxy/ISP rule to block pattern of url/domain/ip/etc. try remote
upload the direct link, if it success, then again it must be just you fail to
communicate to cdn

If this really necessary, should we wrap all images on QR as sprites, store it
somewhere else?

Advanced editor ( kaskus' default post editor, unrelated to kqr ) is also
affected by this, however directly opening the image url works.
Disabling abp/ghostery/noscript doesn't work, and there are several other users
reporting similar issue.

Seems to work normally on Chrome; can you reproduce the issue on Firefox?

Advanced editor is really not relate to qr, that's true.
But, some of elemnts use the exact same image resource.
Is there a new thing from firefox forbid static files being loaded from another
domain?
Currently away from keyboard, network is down for a while :(
I'll see what i can do, btw on what Firefox version does it affected?

Yup, exactly my point; the bug occurs on non-qr editor as well, and same image
resources.
Looks more like server issue rather than Firefox issue, but I'm not sure why it
returns 403 error on Firefox, and no error on Chrome.
Also, Firefox 28.

Tested it on my box using Firefox 21 and 28, and my linux (Firefox 28), failed
to reproduce the issues :|

I also test it on Tor (FF 17), strangely it came up.. ><"
http://i.cubeupload.com/a38n9G.png ;
But still it's not affected on chrome even its SOCKS set to Tor.

I am afraid it is not my place to fix this; You may have to report it to kaskus
officer / here: http://www.kaskus.co.id/user/feedback

Yeah, seems like it's kaskus' own problem.
