IE 8 does not have drop down subject boxes on screen after Begin #13

On IE 8.0.76601.1751 the Drop down subject boxes do not appear. This may be a local issue with caching or might be a problem with IE8. At the moment we are unable to re-produce on IE 8.0.6001.18702

A general QA sweep for IE8 should be completed, not least because upgrades to IE will soon become compulsory for Windows users.
