this PR includes some small fixes to whitespace characters and captilization of LaTeX and BibTex. Additionally, one missing period (".") in the \authorfooter. A more detailed list:
fix double spaces
fix trailing spaces
replaced tabs with spaces for more consistency
renamed bibTex to BibTex
renamed latex variants to LaTeX
added trailing periods to \authorfooter. (See this commit) Not sure if this is intended as the line above says "insert punctuation at end of each item".
