sometimes, a disabled SMi-channel cannot be re-enabled.

clicking on the toggle, will shortly flash it as "enabled", but then it will become disabled again.

on the corresponding SMi, everything seems to work (e.g. log-messages are written to stdout)

i guess this is a problem of not resetting the "alive"-counter
