in many situations one of them is not needed (e.g. the server), but at the same time multiple instances of the other are required (e.g. forwarding processed data to multiple hosts).
i would therefore suggest to allow the user to specify which types and how many proxies they require.
something like:
Add new Server...
Add new Client...
and have a scroll-pane with all the proxies
possibly making the client/server settings fixed (so the user has to delete/recreate to change the port)
