Shall we replace "man-in-the-middle" with some inclusive alternative one such as "person-in-the-middle". The later isn't a standard one but is the closest one.

I like keeping the MITM acronym. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man-in-the-middle_attack suggests that "manipulator-in-the-middle" is now a common expansion.

I merged the changes now in order to work on changes for other reviewer's comments. May update if other changes needed.
