Empty statistics for Document Type "RFCs" #7742

Describe the issue

If you open Statistics and select "RFCs" as Document type, then the result for any option in "Authors" row is empty. For "All" or "Internet-drafts" Document types the statistics is (presumably correctly) displayed.

I can reproduce only if I also select "past 5 years". Do you see differently? Can you post the URL that you're looking at?

Do you see the histogram or is that empty?

Also remember that /stats is generally broken and needs to be removed/re-implemented (#3712)

For me the behavior is the same for both "All time" and"Past 5 years": the histogram is present, but it is empty. For example, for the following URL https://datatracker.ietf.org/stats/document/author/documents/?type=rfc I see the following picture (zoomed out to print full screen): statistics
