Switching views of a draft #7876

Description

I wish there was an easy (and intuitive) way of switching between the two views of a draft provided by (e.g.) https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-halpern-gendispatch-antitrust/09/ and https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-halpern-gendispatch-antitrust-09 I realise that the "htmlized" button on the first leads to the second, but you have to know that, it isn't really intuitive. And there is no button on the second one that leads to the status page. Both views have their value, so flipping between them should be easy.

Code of Conduct

There was a failed PR that replaced the text <pre> on the metadata page with +/- the representation in the /html/ view. It failed mostly becuase it was slightly different, making yet-another-variant of display to contend with. I suggest that up-leveling and putting pressure on combining the views, or making them as similar as possible, would be better.

That said, there is a link back from the /html/ pages to the document main page - it's at the top of the right column, labelled "Datatracker". Clearly that's not intuitive either.

Thanks. I had assumed that the "Datatracker" button would take me to a generic page. Changing it to "Datatracker view" or "Datatracker status" would be much clearer, I think.

The sidebar in the "htmlized" view is ultra-useful. I'm no UI expert, but if it could be linked as "htmlized + diffs" that would definitely help.

Blending the two views would be very hard IMHO. Making it intuitive to flip between them seems more practical.
